With the possible exception of those incredibly bored looking White kids listening to this awesome music, I really love this video. I saw a live Dick Clark stage show once back in the day and I think Martha and the Vandellas were part of it. The energy, the harmony, and the moves (even when played down to be cautious) knocked me out back then and it still does. Thanks for posting this. I might even have to post it myself.

Changeseeker, yeah I love this band. How awesome that you saw them live! Even though I think they did kinda tone it down for white audiences, they were known back then as the "harder" "harsher" Motown sound, because of the uptempo drive and aggressive vocals, whereas some other acts went for a sweeter vibe. But to me, Martha and the Vandellas sound plenty sweet! How epic is that series of "Yeah yeahs" at the end?! Can't touch that. And yeah some of those white kids in that video do look bored, but I think some are just a little disoriented, looking around trying to figure out what that funny feeling is, that tingling pulsing sensation that makes you want to...dance!
